The Arkansas State Police (ASP) have launched a search for a 50-year-old Alabama man, Stacy Lee Drake, who is wanted in connection with three murders in Oklahoma and a series of other charges. Drake was last spotted outside a motel in Morrilton, Arkansas, located approximately an hour's drive northwest of Little Rock. Authorities have issued a warning that Drake is considered 'armed and dangerous.'
The allegations against Drake stem from two carjackings in Oklahoma that resulted in three homicides. Deputies from the Sequoyah County Sheriff’s Office in Oklahoma were called to a business near State Highway 64 and South 4670 Road, where they discovered the bodies of a deceased male and female. The victims were subsequently transported to the Office of the Oklahoma Chief Medical Examiner for identification and to determine the cause of death.
Following the discovery, the sheriff’s office sought assistance from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI). OSBI initiated an investigation at the scene and identified Drake as a person of interest. A car that Drake had allegedly stolen was located in Morrilton, Arkansas, late Tuesday, although authorities are still actively searching for him.
Aside from the murder charges, Drake is also wanted for robbery and carjacking offenses in various jurisdictions. Described as a 5-foot-11 White male with brown hair and eyes, weighing around 185 pounds, Drake's last known address was in Birmingham, Alabama.
ASP has issued a cautionary advisory urging individuals who may encounter Drake to refrain from approaching him and instead contact 911 immediately. The search for Drake continues as law enforcement agencies collaborate to bring him to justice.
