A 20-year-old woman is heading to prison, a year after disrupting Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport by attacking a TSA agent.

According to ABC 15 Arizona, the U.S. District Attorney's Office announced on Wednesday that Ma'Kiah Coleman of Glendale is sentenced to four months in prison, followed by 36 months of supervised release.

At Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport on April 25, 2023, Coleman violently confronted a TSA agent by grasping the agent's hair and forcing their head onto a table in the baggage screening area. She delivered multiple closed-fist blows to the agent's head. The altercation ended when several other TSA agents stepped in to restrain Coleman.

Paperwork from the court states that Coleman became upset after the TSA agent took her apple juice, a prohibited item, before going through a security screening.

Coleman is also prohibited from traveling on commercial aircraft during the three-year term of her court supervision.
