Arizona police are searching for a man caught on camera vandalizing Donald Trump signs with a machete while wearing pizza pants.

On October 23, witnesses reported the man's destructive behavior to authorities, detailing how he used his vehicle and a machete to damage the signs in a residential area, as reported by Fox 10 Phoenix.

When Yuma County Sheriff's Office arrived to investigate, a suspect was nowhere to be found, confirming they had already fled the scene.

In the state, damaging campaign signs is considered a Class 2 misdemeanor. The man could also face charges related to criminal damage or theft.

"Per Arizona Revised Statute 16-1019.A, it is a class 2 misdemeanor for any person to knowingly remove, alter, deface or cover any political sign of any candidate for public office without authorization," Yuma County Sheriff's Office said. "Additional charges of trespassing, theft, and/or criminal damage may also be applicable under certain circumstances."

Authorities are now asking the public to help identify the man in the video. Meanwhile, the sheriff's office is investigating the matter further.
