Neither the University of Arizona nor Arizona State are having exceptional football seasons.
That doesn’t matter when the schools get together for their annual Pac-12 scrap.
And scrap it was as Sparky the Sun Devils’ mascot and Wilbur the Wildcats’ mascot appeared to get into a fight during the game on Friday.
The cheerleaders looked like they were having fun breaking up the bout.
And as the fight was on, Arizona State’s Gio Sanders scored a touchdown.
This might be the craziest sequence I’ve ever recorded.
Gio Sanders TD puts the Sun Devils back on top. ASU leads 21-17 with 7:08.

And the mascots weren’t the only ones in Arizona who had issues.
