Arike Ogunbowale banked an absolutely thrilling midcourt 3-pointer to beat the shot clock

Well, Indiana Fever rookie guard Caitlin Clark won’t have the most thrilling WNBA logo 3-pointer of Thursday night.

That honor now belongs to Dallas Wings guard Arike Ogunbowale, who threw up a prayer of a midcourt 3-pointer before the shot clock expired and banked it to loud cheers from the crowd and the shock of the broadcast.

Seriously, hitting a 3-point shot from the Wings midcourt logo is beyond impressive, particularly with the defense Ogunbowale faced before the basket attempt and the way she navigated the moment as the shot clock expired.

Ogunbowale is one of the better point guards in the WNBA for a reason, and truly incredible 3-pointers like this are a great reason why.

Enjoy watching this on replay and marveling at how amazing a shot it is.
