Argos and Currys can't match incredible Samsung Galaxy Buds discount – it's time to ditch your AirPods

It's time to ditch your AirPods as one retailer launches a steal of an offer on its biggest rival, Samsung's Galaxy Buds Live. Wireless earbuds are all the rage and Amazon's new price drop means they're now a lot more affordable as it takes £74 off the price currently being asked at fellow retailers Argos and Currys.

It's all thanks to the retailer's Prime Day, where the price of the Samsung Galaxy Buds Live is now under the £70 mark, a tech accessory shoppers usually pay £139 for, and the current price at Argos and Currys.

As Samsung keep the original £100 (plus) price tag, the only 'downside' on the Prime deal is fewer colour options for shoppers. Apart from this, it's a deal we'd recommend jumping on.

The pair of buds are available in three of Samsung's five colourways; Mystic Black, Mystic Bronze and Mystic White, the other Mystic Blue and Matte Black options are seemingly exclusive to the brand's own site.

You may be wondering the difference between this reduced pair and the standard Galaxy Buds 2 and Galaxy Buds 2 Pro from Samsung, and really it's all in the fit and sound. The inner ear shap is different on the Galaxy Buds Live, more bean shaped, which has been done on purpose so the bud sits flat against users ears - allowing the sound to travel.

It's simple, if you're after active noise cancelling then the Galaxy Buds Live are the ones to go for, or the Galaxy Buds 2 and Buds 2 Pro for those who sway towards the traditional Ambient sound.

There's no say as to how long the deal will be available to buy, as it's thought to be an 'early bird' price drop ahead of the retailer's Prime Day sale this July 11 and July 12.
