Two places in the Liverpool City Region have seen positive covid tests increase.
According to the latest data from Public Health England, the areas of the City Region to have recorded the rises in the week-on-week percentage change figures were Knowsley and Halton.

Halton recorded 163 cases in the week ending May 6. That's four more cases than in the previous seven days. It meant that the week-on-week percentage change figure in Halton increased by 3%.
And in Knowsley, there were 211 cases recorded in the week ending May 6 - that's just one more than the previous week. It meant that the week-on-week percentage change figure in Knowsley increased by 1%.
The four other areas of the city region logged falls in covid tests.
West Lancs, Warrington, and Cheshire West and Chester, also recorded falls in positive tests in the week ending May 6.
In England, there was a week-on-week percentage change figure fall of 17%.
Liverpool
Liverpool's positive tests came to 493 cases in the week ending May 6, which is 96 fewer cases than the previous week. This meant the week-on-week percentage change figure went down by 16%. The latest infection rate was 98.5 cases per 100,000 people.
Wirral
Wirral's positive tests came to 380 cases in the week ending May 6, which is 51 fewer cases than in the previous seven days. This meant the week-on-week percentage change figure went down by 12%. The latest infection rate was 117.2 cases per 100,000 people.
Halton
There were 163 positive tests over the last week - that's four more cases than in the previous week. This means the week-on-week percentage change figure increased by 3% in Halton in the week ending May 6. The latest infection rate is 125.6 cases per 100,000 people.
St Helens
There was a total of 215 cases in the week ending May 6, which is 10 fewer cases than in the previous week. The latest infection rate in St Helens is 118.7 cases per 100,000 people and the week-on-week percentage change figure went down by 4%.
Knowsley
There was a total of 211 cases in the week ending May 6, which is one more cases than in the previous week. The latest infection rate in Knowsley is 138.4 cases per 100,000 people and the week-on-week percentage change figure went up by 1%.
Sefton
Sefton had a total of 370 cases in the week ending May 6, which is a 65 fewer cases than in the previous week. The latest infection rate is 134.1 cases per 100,000 people and the number of cases went down by 15% week on week.
Liverpool City Region
There were 1,832 positive tests over in the week ending May 6, which is 217 fewer cases than in the previous week. This means the week-on-week percentage change went down by 11%. The latest infection rate is 107.59 cases per 100,000 people.
Warrington
There were 268 positive Covid-19 tests in the week ending May 6, which is 60 fewer cases than the previous week. The week-on-week percentage figure went down by 18%. There was an infection rate of 127.99 per 100,000 people.
Cheshire West and Chester
There were 488 positive Covid-19 tests in the week ending May 6, which is 36 fewer cases than the previous week. The latest infection rate is 141.93 cases per 100,000 people, and the week-on-week percentage went down by 7% in cases.
West Lancs
There were 111 positive Covid-19 tests in the week ending May 6, which is 32 fewer cases than the previous week. The latest infection rate in West Lancs is 96.95 cases per 100,000 people, and the week-on-week percentage went down by 22% in cases.
England
In the week ending May 6, England recorded 61,597 coronavirus cases, which is 12,604 fewer cases than in the previous seven days. The week-on-week percentage went down by 17% in England. There was an infection rate of 108.92 per 100,000 people.
