One area of the Liverpool City Region has seen positive Coivd tests drop by 60% in just a week.
According to the latest data from Public Health England, Knowsley had 1,667 positive covid tests in the seven days ending January 13 - that's 2,504 fewer positive tests than the seven days before.
So, this means Knowsley's week-on-week percentage change figure dropped by exactly 60%.

The other five areas of the city region also recorded falls in infections. The week-on-week percentage change figure drops were: 55% in Liverpool; 52% in Halton; 57% in St Helens; 57% in Sefton; and 54% in Wirral.
In the Liverpool City Region overall, there was a 56% fall in Covid infections week on week.
And in England infections fell in the week ending January 13.
Liverpool
Liverpool's positive tests came to 5,183 cases in the week ending January 13, which is 6,242 fewer cases than in the previous seven days.
This meant the week-on-week percentage change figure dropped by 55%.
The latest infection rate was 1,035.6 cases per 100,000 people.
Halton
There were 1,586 positive tests over the last week - that's 1,730 fewer cases than in the previous seven days.
This means the week-on-week percentage change figure decreased by 52% in Halton in the week ending January 13.
The latest infection rate is 1,222.3 cases per 100,000 people.
St Helens
There was a total of 2,038 cases in the week ending January 13, which is 2,707 fewer cases than in the previous week.
The latest infection rate in St Helens is 1,125.4 cases per 100,000 people and the week-on-week percentage change figure fell by 57%.
Knowsley
There was a total of 1,667 cases in the week ending January 13, which is 2,504 fewer cases than in the previous week.
The latest infection rate in Knowsley is 1,093.5 cases per 100,000 people and the week-on-week percentage change figure fell by 60%.
Sefton
Sefton had a total of 2,814 cases in the week ending January 13, which is a 3,771 fewer cases than in the previous week.
The latest infection rate is 1,019.9 cases per 100,000 people and the number of cases dropped by 57% week on week.
Liverpool City Region
There were 17,029 positive tests over in the week ending January 13, which is 21,406 fewer cases than in the previous week.
This means the week-on-week percentage change decreased by 56%. The latest infection rate is 1,000.09 cases per 100,000 people.
Warrington
There were 2,263 positive Covid-19 tests in the week ending January 13, which is 2,603 fewer cases than the previous week.
The week-on-week percentage figure fell by 54%. There was an infection rate of 1,080.72 per 100,000 people.
West Lancs
West Lancashire recorded 1,200 coronavirus cases in the week ending January 13, which is 1,540 fewer cases than in the previous seven days.
This meant there was a week-on-week percentage figure fell by 56%. The infection rate was 1,048.07 per 100,000 people.
Cheshire West and Chester
There were 3,541 positive Covid-19 tests in the week ending January 13, which is 3,851 fewer cases than the previous seven days.
The latest infection rate is 1,029.89 cases per 100,000 people, and there was a week-on-week percentage decrease of 52% in cases.
England
In the week ending January 13, England recorded 580,744 coronavirus cases, which is 440,901 fewer cases than in the previous seven days.
There was a week-on-week percentage fall of 43% in cases nationally, and there was an infection rate of 1,026.95 per 100,000 people.
