Area of Liverpool City Region records 60 per cent drop in Covid infections

Liverpool City Region Covid-19 Knowsley

One area of the Liverpool City Region has seen positive Coivd tests drop by 60% in just a week.

According to the latest data from Public Health England, Knowsley had 1,667 positive covid tests in the seven days ending January 13 - that's 2,504 fewer positive tests than the seven days before.

So, this means Knowsley's week-on-week percentage change figure dropped by exactly 60%.
