It was back in July that Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce revealed to his brother — and the world — on their New Heights podcast that Travis tried to write his phone number on a friendship bracelet he wanted to hand to Taylor Swift when she played at an Eras show he attended.
But, at the time, it didn’t happen. That was the end of that, right? Our dreams of Swift and Kelce (Swelce? Let’s go with Swelce!) were dead.
Not so fast! There are now reports that Swift and Kelce did end up getting together (!!!).
Per The Messenger, from a source: “Taylor and Travis have been quietly hanging out,” the source said. “She saw him when she was in NYC a few weeks ago.”
WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? Now we have this from Entertainment Tonight:
A source tells ET that the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and the “Anti-Hero” singer are not officially dating.
ET has reached out to both Taylor and Travis’ reps for comment on the recent report that they are, however, hanging out.
Meanwhile, a source tells ET, “Travis has been into Taylor for a while and definitely has a crush on her. He is a simple guy that is very funny, charismatic, chill, and loves playing football.”
Hmmm. Dating? Not quite, per these reports. But we’ll see! Maybe their paths will cross again someday.
