Many bus services are being diverted and delayed due to the recent sustained snowfall in Nottinghamshire. NCT Buses and Trentbarton have made temporary route changes because of poor road conditions after snow covered the county, with flurries continuing from Thursday, March 9 into Friday, March 10.
NCT Buses said after 7am this morning (Friday, March 10) that the only services diverted due to the snow are Brown 16C, Blue 40 and Red 43. All the other services are currently following their normal routes but are subject to delays in the bad weather.
Brown 16C will not be able to serve Brownlow Drive and Bestwood Park Drive West, with the buses starting and finishing at Rise Park Bus Terminus. Blue 40 will be running via Woodborough Road and Woodthorpe Drive instead of Winchester Street, Winwood Heights, and will only stop at Sherwood Manor/Magnus Road in Sherwood.

Red 43 is operating between City, Sneinton Dale and Cardale Road roundabout (Tesco Express) only. Pink 30 from Wollaton at 08.23am, 09.38am and from City at 09.10am are unable to operate this morning.
In an 8am update, Trentbarton said their services were being affected by ongoing staff shortages, but also by the weather. In a post, they explained the Connect service in Hucknall would be missing the Beauvale stop from its green route, due to snow.
The nines route will be also be missing stops as a result of the weather, with Kilburn and Victoria Road in Pinxton not served. Both NCT Buses and Trentbarton will be publishing more updates throughout the day, detailing any further disruption.
