The Indian stock market will remain open on August 26, even as Eid-e-Milad is observed across India on Wednesday. The festival marks the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad and is listed as a holiday by several government departments and institutions.
However, the BSE and NSE will function as usual, with only a settlement holiday in place. Trading will continue normally, while the clearing and settlement of trades will remain suspended for the day.
