Paul McCusker, an SDLP councillor in the area, says the tenant in the house at Estoril Park and his family have been left “frightened” by the attack. He added that the man who lives there ended up in hospital due to the “trauma” caused by the incident.
He added: “This is deeply disturbing incident and it has left this family very frightened. Two males were seen running away from the scene after this attack and the family are appealing for people in the area to check CCTV etc and to please come forward if they have any information. This is just unacceptable and has left the man who lives here traumatised.”
