Arctic Monkeys pre-sale ticket deadline for Swansea 2023 show

Fans have just a few hours left before they can bag pre-sale tickets for the Arctic Monkeys 2023 tour. The Sheffield band will be playing in Swansea next year as part of their huge 2023 tour.

Those who want to see the band, led by frontman Alex Turner, live can do so next year as they embark on a UK and Ireland tour starting on May 29, 2023. They will be playing at Swansea Stadium on June 12, 2023.

Their tour comes after the announcement of their new album, 'The Car', which comes out on October 21, 2022. Pre-sale tickets for their tour will begin on Thursday, September 29 at 9am via Ticketmaster and See Tickets, while general sale takes place on Friday, September 30 at 9am.

To get access to the pre-sale launch fans must pre-order the new album by 3pm today (Wednesday, September 28) from the official Arctic Monkeys webstore. The Car can be bought on any audio format, whether that's cassette, CD or LP. Once pre-ordered, fans will be given a special code to gain access to the pre-sale tomorrow.

The unique code will be sent between 5pm and 7pm (BST) on Wednesday (September 28) and the pre-sale opens at 9am (BST) on Thursday, September 29, 2022 and runs until 8.59am (BST) on Friday, September 30, 2022. The code will be sent from the email address - support@kontrabandstores.com - so fans will need to check their spam/junk folders and any promotional/update filter tabs.

Only one code per customer is allowed, each code is valid for up to four tickets to be purchased. Pre-sale access also does not guarantee you tickets; it guarantees your eligibility to access the ticket presale before general release.

Pre-sale tickets will also be "extremely limited" due to high demand. Those who are unsuccessful securing tickets during the pre-sale, more tickets will be available in the general sale from 9am on Friday. The Hives and The Mysterines have been announced as special guests for the shows.

The English rock band also unveiled debut single 'There'd Better Be A Mirrorball' from their album which is set for release on Friday, October 21. Their seventh studio album, ‘The Car’ features ten new songs written by Alex Turner and produced by James Ford. Following 2018’s ‘Tranquillity Base Hotel + Casino’, ‘The Car’ finds Arctic Monkeys running wild in a new and sumptuous musical landscape and contains some of the richest and most rewarding vocal performances of Alex Turner’s career.

Formed in Sheffield, West Yorkshire, Arctic Monkeys consists of Alex Turner, Jamie Cook, Nick O'Malley, and Matt Helders, and have a loyal fan base since beginning in 2002.
