Mourners flocked to Archie Battersbee‘s hospital to light candles and write cards after his heartbroken family announced his death hours after his life support was withdrawn.

The 12-year-old, who suffered “devastating” brain damage, died at 12.15pm on Saturday, his mother Hollie Dance said outside the Royal London Hospital.
