SANSKARDHAM (Gujarat): The bitter loss at the Tokyo Summer Games allowed Olympian couple Atanu Das and Deepika Kumari to change their perspective about the sport which they loved all their lives.
It offered them the opportunity to process failures and the time to realise there’s life beyond archery. The duo took a sabbatical from archery and planned for parenthood. As things stand, Atanu and Deepika, a former World No. 1 recurve archer, are expecting their first child in another two months’ time in December.
