Arc Raiders door exploit makes keycards useless, and players demand the banhammer for those using it: "The sooner Embark bans people doing this, the sooner it will stop"

Arc Raiders best weapons .

As the great Rage Against the Machine lyric goes, "We don't need the key, we’ll break in." Alas, I don't think Zack de la Rocha had Arc Raiders in mind when penning 'Know Your Enemy,' but the reference stands at the moment thanks to a glitch letting players avoid locked doors for loot.

Maps in Arc Raiders have keycards for corresponding rooms full of treasure. It gives you a reason to explore, for both the keys and their doors. But, an exploit is letting players phase through the fortified entryway and open it from the inside.

As you can see in the clip below from ZombieBarriades, per Lance's Emporium, the technique requires you to push right into the door at a certain point for a particular length of time. Do it right, and eventually you'll slink through whatever's obstructing you and into a hidden storage unit filled with useful weapons and such.

It’s a problem that’s been around for a while now, and it’s causing real consternation across the community. "The sooner Embark bans people doing this, the sooner it will stop," MoiDawg, a popular YouTuber and streamer, states in a quote-tweet of Lance's clip.

"Let's just ban people doing this tbh. It needs to get fixed and it's obviously not a simple one as it would’ve been done by now," Klean, another streamer, adds.

This door issue has become a running joke among fans, with a litany of memes across the official subreddit, all poking fun at how they're still just waiting for Embark Studios to address the problem.

Alas, it's likely something on the team's radar, but a solution is evading them for the time being. Whatever the case, its usage probably isn't going away until a hotfix arrives.

Arc Raiders' most dedicated players say "there is not enough content," but others beg to differ: "I sweated at the game 24 hours a day… Why no content?"
