Arabica Recovers as a Lower Brazil Coffee Harvest Estimate Sparks Short Covering

September arabica coffee (KCU24) on Monday closed up +0.15 (+0.07%), and Sep ICE robusta coffee (RMU24) closed down -35 (-0.81%).

Coffee prices on Monday settled mixed.  Arabica coffee recovered from a 4-week low Monday and closed slightly higher as short covering emerged after a Coffee Trading Academy report projected Brazil's 2024/25 coffee crop at 67.4 million bags, well below an earlier forecast of above 70 million bags.
