Arabica Coffee Slides on Weakness in Brazilian Real

Sep arabica coffee (KCU23) this morning is down -2.40 (-1.46%), and Sep ICE robusta coffee (RMU23) is up +5 (+0.19%).

Coffee prices this morning are mixed, with arabica falling to a 1-week low and robusta climbing to a 1-week high.  Weakness in the Brazilian real (^USDBRL) is undercutting arabica coffee prices today after the real fell to a 1-month low against the dollar.  The weaker real encourages export selling by Brazil's coffee producers.
