March arabica coffee (KCH25) on Friday closed up +1.25 (+0.39%), and January ICE robusta coffee (RMF25) closed down -50 (-0.99%).
Coffee prices were mixed Friday, with underlying support from a weaker dollar. In addition, consultancy group Safras & Mercado Friday estimated the 2025/26 Brazilian coffee crop at 62.45 million bags, down -5% yr/yr. Safras predicts that arabica output will fall -15% yr/yr to 38.35 million bags due to drought and that robusta production will be 24.1 million bags.
