Arabica Coffee Recovers Early Losses on Strength in the Brazilian Real

Brazil Ice Vietnam Mar ICE the USDA FAS International Coffee Organization

March arabica coffee (KCH24) this morning is up +0.65 (+0.34%), and Mar ICE robusta coffee (RMH24) is down -17 (-0.52%).

Coffee prices this morning are mixed.  Arabica coffee recovered from early losses and moved higher on strength in the Brazilian real.  The real (^USDBRL) today rallied to a 2-week high against the dollar, discouraging export selling from Brazil's coffee producers.  Losses in robusta coffee were limited after ICE-monitored robusta coffee inventories fell to a record low.
