Arabica Coffee Rallies on Weaker Dollar

Ice arabica Brazil Robusta the International Coffee Organization USDA

July arabica coffee (KCN23) this morning is up +3.55 (+1.88%), and July ICE robusta coffee (RMN23) is unchanged.

Coffee prices today are seeing support, with arabica coffee up +1.88% and robusta posting a 12-year high before falling back. A fall in the dollar index today to a 1-1/2 week low is supportive for coffee prices. However, robusta gave up its advance and is little changed on the increase in inventories after ICE monitored robusta coffee inventories climbed to a 4-1/2 month high Tuesday.
