
December arabica coffee (KCZ25) on Friday closed up +3.65 (+0.93%), and November ICE robusta coffee (RMX25) closed down -62 (-1.34%).
Coffee prices on Friday settled mixed. Arabica coffee recovered from early losses on Friday and moved higher after arabica ICE coffee inventories fell to a 19-month low. Robusta coffee retreated on Friday on forecasts for rain this weekend in Vietnam's Central Highlands, the country's major coffee-producing region, which is expected to support crop development and coffee yields. The Dak Lak province, the country's largest coffee-growing area, is forecast to get 70 mm of rain over the next week compared with a historical average of 61.3 mm.
