Apple is building its most expensive iPhone ever, and it won't unlock with your face.

The iPhone Ultra, Apple's first foldable smartphone expected in September 2026, will start at $1,999 (£1,478) and ship without Face ID, a telephoto camera, or a physical SIM slot.
