Apple Faces Potential Lawsuit Over Monopoly Power

Apple is the only major tech giant that the federal government has yet to sue since the company was named in a sprawling House report in 2020. The report found that Apple, along with Meta, Google, and Amazon, hold 'monopoly power' in the tech industry.

A case against Apple would mark the latest example of the Biden administration's firm stance on Big Tech. The Justice Department previously sued Google in 2023 over its dominance in the advertising technology sector.
