The hunt is on to trace three men who stole a vehicle from a car park in Erskine.
The thieves struck in the early hours of Friday, January 20. They stole a white Ford Kuga (registration MF12 BZV) from a car park in the Hopeman area around 4.10am.
The car was traced in the Greenock area, Inverclyde, later the same day.
Efforts to identify the men responsible for the theft remain ongoing, say police.
Constable Steven Carson of the Renfrewshre and Inverclyde Police Division said: “We’re appealing for anyone who may have been in the Hopeman area in the early hours of Friday, January 20, and witnessed any suspicious activity to come forward.
“We are also keen to speak with anyone who believes they saw the vehicle at any other time before it was recovered.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting incident 0406 of 20 January, 2023. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, if you wish to remain anonymous.”
