Animal welfare experts are appealing for a new home for a friendly dog in their care.
Toby is a six-year-old Jack Russell Terrier, currently in foster care through Dogs Trust West Calder.
His carers say he is a very friendly boy who is always pleased to meet new people.
A spokeswoman fort Dogs Trust said: “Toby is happiest when spending time outside, whether exploring on his daily walks or pottering around the garden. When he’s not relaxing in the sun, Toby loves chasing his tennis ball or playing a game of tug.
“He is a clever boy who will show off his tricks, sitting politely or giving a high five, especially if it means he will get a tasty treat.
“Toby loves spending time with his favourite people. As he prefers human company, Toby would like his new family to take him on outdoor adventures in peaceful areas where he is unlikely to meet other dogs. His ideal new home would have its own secure garden he can play in. Toby is a gentle dog who would be a wonderful companion for an adult household.”
