Appeal after fatal road collision involving lorry and BMW in west London

The Met Police have issued an appeal for information following a fatal traffic collision involving a lorry and a BMW in west London.

Officers were called to a traffic collision involving a BMW car and a lorry on the A40 on May 13.

Police, alongside the London Fire Brigade and ambulance service attended the scene at 3.17am in Westbourne Park.

Despite receiving treatment at the scene, the 19-year-old male passenger in the BMW died at the scene.

His next of his kin are aware.

The 21-year-old driver was taken to hospital where he is still receiving treatment.

He has been arrested on suspicion of causing death while uninsured aggravated vehicle-taking.

He has been released on bail until June.

No other arrests have been made.
