President Donald Trump is currently trying to overturn the hiring of Lisa Monaco as the president of global affairs at Microsoft. And now reports are coming out that far-right commentator Laura Loomer might have had a hand to play in the push as well.

The indictment of former FBI director James Comey cannot just be read in a vacuum. Trump has made it clear repeatedly that he will not brush off criticism. In fact, in the immediate aftermath of Comey’s indictment Trump told reporters, “I hope there will be others.” The president clarified that there is no list of foes per se, but he does think there will be others like Comey.
