One of the most significant Apex Legends updates is just around the corner, and fans can finally catch a peek at what’s to come.
On Monday, Respawn released an Apex Legends: Season 13 gameplay trailer that shows off several exciting additions. The biggest draw is undoubtedly seeing Newcastle, the latest hero, getting some extensive screen time. As many thought, he’s a shield expert — giving teammates some much-needed shelter when everything goes to hell. Basically, he’s ideal for saving idiots like me that run into the fray without a plan.
There’s also footage of the kaiju-sized leviathan corpse, which GLHF confirmed is perfect for firefights. Check out the video below to see that, along with all the other updates coming in Season 13 of Apex Legends.

Imagine how awful that giant, decomposing husk must smell. Every playable legend that’s not sporting gas masks should be gagging to high heavens inside that thing. Hopefully, the loot inside is worth all the dry-heaving.
Despite that massive leak from a while back, Respawn isn’t changing its content rollout plans. The development team would love to make a sniper character at some point and is open to adding more maps to ranked rotations.
Apex Legends: Season 13 will release on May 10, 2022, for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam and Origin, and Nintendo Switch.
