Apex Legends is DOWN: Battle royale game crashes for players around the world

It’s tipped to be the new Fortnite, but Apex Legends is currently down for players across the UK, Europe and the US.

The server crashed at around 12:12pm GMT, and has been down ever since.

Several people have reported issues to DownDetector, with 58% saying the problems with the server, 38% with log-in and 2% with the website.

EA Games, the developer behind Apex Legends, has also tweeted about the issue.

It said: “Having trouble connecting to ApexLegends on PC? We're working on it and will update here when it's resolved.”

Unsurprisingly, players aren’t happy, and many have taken to Twitter to vent their frustrations.

One said: “Nooo not the spinning wheel of death.”

Another said: “Apex servers are down and so am I.”

It remains unclear how long it will take to get the servers back online.

Mirror Online will keep you updated as and when more information is released.
