On Tuesday, the Gaiden Event in Apex Legends finally began. With it comes more than 50 cosmetics, several of which are styled after popular anime franchises. Revenant, Mirage, Octane, and Wattson are all getting new legendary skins that reference Neon Genesis Evangelion, My Hero Academia, One Piece, and Naruto, respectively. Goodness, gracious! It’s almost tempting enough to dive in and completely overlook the recent troubles.
