Fabio Paratici can upgrade Tottenham midfield for Antonio Conte for free next summer

It has been a good start to the 2022/23 Premier League season for Tottenham. The Lilywhites sit third in the table following an unbeaten start to the campaign, trailing Arsenal by one point and Manchester City on goal difference.

Antonio Conte and Fabio Paratici overhauled the squad in the summer, bringing in seven new players, although one of those - Destiny Udogie - went back to Udinese on loan for the season.

Only one of those seven was brought in to the midfield, however, with Yves Bissouma joining from Brighton. Bissouma has so far struggled to get to grips with life under Conte and Spurs could make plans to improve their ranks in the midfield next summer and Paratici could significantly improve Conte's squad without spending a penny.
