ANZ fined $25 million for misleading more than 680,000 customers over 'Breakfree' package

The Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited (ANZ) has been fined $25 million in the Federal Court for failing to provide a number of benefits it had agreed to give certain customers.

ANZ is in the process of paying $211 million in remuneration over the same matter.
