Anutin wants to further reward health volunteers

Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul will seek 2.1 billion baht from the government's contingency fund for a 2,000 baht handout to every community-based health volunteer for their contribution to Covid-19 control.

Deputy government spokeswoman Traisuree Taisaranakul said on Monday that Mr Anutin would request the budget from the cabinet on Tuesday, to reward 1.05 million health volunteers nationwide.
