Manchester United transfer target Antony has sent a message to former Ajax teammate Lisandro Martinez.
Antony did not feature for Ajax at the weekend against Sparta Rotterdam. Ajax boss Alfred Schreuder confirmed that Antony had told him he was 'not 100 per cent' ready to play for his side.
Schreuder added that he was confident the Brazilian would remain at the club as long as they are playing in the Champions League. However, the saga took another turn on Monday night when the 22-year-old and his agent, Emerson Santos, were pictured on the latter's Instagram watching the United game. The post would subsequently be removed from the social media platform.

Antony has now provided another reason for United fans to believe he could soon be arriving at Old Trafford after he sent a message to Martinez on Instagram. In a reel which was shared on Martinez's page, the defender can be seen celebrating United's victory over Liverpool. He captioned the video: "#aboutlastnight. This is Manchester United."
Antony, who was teammates with Martinez at the Johan Cruyff Arena, responded: "Go on." Schreuder has already lost one player to United this summer and has made it clear that he does not want the club to sell any more players this window.
