Di Canio slams Antony's 'pirouettes'
West Ham United legend Paolo Di Canio has claimed that Manchester United overpaid for Brazilian winger Antony and mocked his 'pirouettes' when attacking.
Erik ten Hag targeted the former Ajax man in the summer as he looked to strengthen the Reds' forward options. The Amsterdam club's manager at the time, Alfred Schreuder, was determined to keep hold of the 22-year-old however Antony made his feelings clear that he wanted to make the switch to Old Trafford.

Once a fee of £86m was agreed with the Eredivisie club, Antony immediately hit the ground running. Three goals in his first three appearances for the Reds pointed to him being a wise acquisition.
Ferdinand names pleasing aspect of United victory

Having drawn with the same opponents at Old Trafford on Wednesday night, United shuffled their defensive pack for the Elland Road return on Sunday afternoon. Only this time there was a win to celebrate.
Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez started in that first showdown, as they have regularly throughout the campaign, but made way for £80million captain Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw on this occasion. Martinez was subbed on later in the piece with the score deadlocked.
