Chelsea were not a busy club during the January transfer window, bringing in no new faces despite being linked with a number of stars from around the world.
Only Romelu Lukaku, Saul Niguez and Marcus Bettinelli arrived in the summer in what has been a conservative start from Thomas Tuchel in the transfer market at Stamford Bridge.
But it looks like things could be very different once the season ends and transfer dealings once again get underway.
While the 2021-22 campaign could still end with four trophies in the bag, closing the gap on Manchester City in the Premier League will be a priority.
With that in mind, football.london looks at all the latest transfer rumours from Stamford Bridge.
Who?
Armando Broja
Where?
What?
Broja has been in great form on loan with Southampton this season but is refusing to rule out a move away from Stamford Bridge in the summer.
"Chelsea starlet and Arsenal target Armando Broja is refusing to rule out the possibility of a move away from Stamford Bridge ahead of the summer transfer window, Express Sport has learned.
"Broja is spending the season on loan at Southampton and has turned plenty of heads with his impressive performances for his temporary employers in recent months.
"Express Sport has been told by a source that he is open to all options this summer and would not be prepared to rule anything out at this point in time."
Who?
Antonio Rudiger
Where?
What?
Antonio Rudiger's contract will expire at Stamford Bridge at the end of the 2021-22 season and the player has put the pressure on Chelsea, claiming it is up to them whether he stays or.
Speaking to The Athletic, the defender said: "I feel great here, I have always said it. I think the way I play you can see that I’m happy here. But there are also other people who have to make decisions.”
The report also states: "Talks stopped for months until Chelsea reached out in late December to reach a new agreement. There is a bit more positivity on both sides that something could still be finalised but Rudiger feels the hold-up so far has been caused by the club."
Who?
Christopher Nkunku
Where?
What?
Chelsea have previously been linked with a move for the RB Leipzig midfielder, but Manchester United have now joined the race for his signature.
The report from ESPN states: "Manchester United have added Christopher Nkunku to their list of summer targets after interim manager Ralf Rangnick urged the club to step up their interest in the RB Leipzig midfielder, sources told ESPN.
"Sources have said that United's interest has only emerged since Rangnick arrived at Old Trafford in December and reviewed the club's list of potential signings."
