There is currently plenty going on at Chelsea Football Club – when isn't there? – but with the takeover of the club still ongoing, key players leaving at the end of their contracts, and summer transfer window plans up in the air, it does all feel a little more chaotic than usual.
On the pitch, Thomas Tuchel has guided the Blues to third in the Premier League and there is an FA Cup final to come next month. Unfortunately, the Champions League crown last May will not be retained after Chelsea were knocked out of Europe's premier club competition by Real Madrid earlier this month.
It's away from actual football that uncertainty continues. The Raine Group, who are handling the sale of the club by Roman Abramovich, are expected to confirm in the coming days who is the preferred bidder for Chelsea. From there, things will move forward and there will be an element of clarity of what comes next for the Blues.

There are big decisions for the incoming ownership group to make. Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen are moving on at the end of their contracts and will need to be replaced. Meanwhile, contract decisions on Marcos Alonso, N'Golo Kante and Jorginho have to be made given their respective deals expire in 2023.
