Failing to score in his first eight appearances of the campaign, the 30-year-old was dropped down to the Tottenham bench by Antonio Conte for the match against Leicester City.
Introduced on the hour mark, Son was on the scoresheet 13 minutes later as he ran at the Foxes' backline before unleashing an unstoppable effort that flew past Danny Ward and found the top corner. The attacker's celebration may have been rather muted, but it was anything but that inside the stadium.
It was sheer pandemonium as fans celebrated wildly, with Son's teammates all sprinting over to him as soon as the ball hit the net to celebrate the moment. Spurs head coach Conte certainly enjoyed the goal, which can be seen on the latest episode of 'Conte Cam'.
