The noise inside Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday evening said it all when Son Heung-min registered his first goal of the season. Failing to score in his first eight appearances of the campaign, the 30-year-old was dropped down to the Tottenham bench by Antonio Conte for the match against Leicester City.
Introduced on the hour mark, Son was on the scoresheet 13 minutes later as he ran at the Foxes' backline before unleashing an unstoppable effort that flew past Danny Ward and found the top corner. The attacker's celebration may have been rather muted, but it was anything but that inside the stadium.
It was sheer pandemonium as fans celebrated wildly, with Son's teammates all sprinting over to him as soon as the ball hit the net to celebrate the moment. Spurs head coach Conte certainly enjoyed the goal, which can be seen on the latest episode of 'Conte Cam'.

Walking down the touchline to begin with as Son raced towards the box, the Italian immediately turned and sprinted towards his bench after the goal. He then launched himself at a rather unsuspecting Ivan Perisic, who at that point had emerged from the dugout to celebrate, and jumped into his arms.
The Croat maybe wasn't expecting his boss to jump towards him and in the end held him up for a good few seconds before Conte decided it was time to go and celebrate with the rest of his coaching staff. At that point, Perisic ran on to the pitch to join Son and his teammates, duly picking up a yellow card in the process for re-entering the pitch after his substitution 18 minutes earlier.
Son's second of the game also went down incredibly well with Conte, although this time there was no Tottenham player waiting to catch him. Instead he waved his arms about made a beeline for his coaching team before embracing them.
Son was unsurprisingly the main talking point in Conte's post-match press conference following his hat-trick heroics. Not only was it vital for the player to end his goal drought and get back on the scoresheet, the boss also outlined the importance of the team winning following their Champions League defeat against Sporting CP.
"I am pleased for Sonny, for sure, because we can speak, we can try to give an explanation if a player doesn't score especially when he is a striker, but at the end, the striker has to score because if the striker doesn't score, the confidence goes down." he explained.
"For sure, in the last seven games, he had a lot of chances to score, but he was unlucky. For him to score three today in only 13 minutes, I think it was a record for me, the first time to score three as a substitute in this time.
"I am happy for him to change the game as a substitute in this way, but I am especially happy for the team because we needed this. We have three points, and we are 17 points after seven games."
