Tottenham have announced the departure of head coach Antonio Conte by mutual consent after a string of inconsistent results at the club. The Italian coach was set to be out-of-contract in the summer, but a poor spell that has seen an exit from every available cup competition has triggered the exit early.
Assistant coaches Cristian Stellini and Ryan Mason have been given the chance to take over for the remainder of the campaign, given ten games to secure a top four finish. Chairman Daniel Levy said on the change: "We have 10 Premier League games remaining and we have a fight on our hands for a Champions League place.
"We all need to pull together. Everyone has to step up to ensure the highest possible finish for our Club and amazing, loyal supporters.”
