Antonio Conte has stated that Arsenal and Manchester United are now the favourites for the final Champions League spot. Still in the running despite their 3-2 defeat at Old Trafford on Saturday evening, Tottenham have plenty to do if they are to leapfrog their fellow contenders in the table come the final day.
Now six points behind Arsenal having played one match more than Mikel Arteta's men, Spurs do, however, have two games in hand over United, West Ham and Wolves above them. Making it clear that anything can still happen in the remaining games, Conte knows the importance of staying close to their competitors as they bid to clinch fourth.
"But I think that in this moment, Arsenal seems favourite for fourth place and United, but don't forget there's also West Ham and don't forget Wolverhampton. They're having a fantastic season and they're in the same position," he said in his pre-match press conference.
