Antonio Conte is expecting to give more football knowledge to his Tottenham Hotspur players but admits it is a strange situation for him at the club.

Conte has been calling for a reality check at the north London outfit in recent weeks, particularly after three straight Premier League defeat and with a difficult trip to runaway leaders Manchester City this weekend.

The Italian has repeatedly asked for patience from the Spurs fans but it was put to him that with chairman Daniel Levy saying that he wanted to build a cathedral for football with the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, was Conte the Michelangelo brought in to finish the masterpiece?
