Antonio Brown posted a series of cryptic tweets suggesting that his former club, the Steelers, should seek to sign him.
The posts are clearly directed at the team following the news that Pittsburgh’s star wideout Diontae Johnson is expected to be sidelined for a few weeks due to the hamstring injury.
In the first post Brown vaguely implied that due to Johnson’s injury the club could once again use his services.
“Heard the @steelers need a WR………,” wrote Brown.
In his second post, Brown implored fans as well as the team to simply listen to his plea.
“Hear Me Out......,” he added.

The veteran wideout, who was cast aside by NFL teams due to several off-the-field issues, has seen his pleas to be signed by several teams be ignored in recent seasons. A former four-time All-Pro, Brown has not played in the NFL since 2021, when he was a member of the Buccaneers.
