Celtic are putting plans in place for a busy summer with Bristol City striker Antoine Semenyo's agent confirming he's spoken with a member of Ange Postecoglou's staff.
The 22-year-old has six goals and eight assists in his breakout Championship season with the Robins.
And he's been watched by Parkhead scout Craig Strachan in recent weeks after being named the player of the month in England's second tier for January.
Now, speaking to Football Scotland, agent Tony Finnigan has revealed he's held informal conversations with Strachan over his star client.
But he's unsure if the interest will lead to a summer approach from Celtic.
Finnigan said: "I had a conversation with Strachan who rang up to ask little bits of info on the player and a bit about how I found him and what he's like as a lad.
"That was it. If it's something they're going to do in the summer window I'm not sure but it's nice to know that his talents are going as far as Scotland to one of the great institutions in world football.
"There's not really much more to say than that."
It's claimed Red Bull Salzburg are interested, while Nottingham Forest saw their advances rebuffed on the final day of the January window.
With Leigh Griffiths cut loose and Albian Ajeti out of the picture Postecoglou may fancy more firepower for next season.
