Antoine Griezmann has fired a warning to Celtic insisting he is desperate to net at Parkhead to help Atletico go all the way in the Champions League this season.
The Frenchman and his teammates are in fine form after winning their last six games, which includes a victory over Real Madrid in La Liga and Feyenoord in Europe.
Griezmann has been shining himself and netted a hattrick in Atletico's previous game against Celta Vigo.
Brendan Rodgers' Celtic are up next for the striker and he is targeting more goals, with lifting the Champions League trophy his ultimate goal this season.
He told the Daily Record: “The coach talked about resting me last weekend with a big Champions League game against Celtic, but of course I wanted to play and the performance I hope shows that the coach made the right decision.
“The most important thing for a striker is to score goals. When you are scoring it gives you the confidence that you are going to keep scoring. I feel like I am in some of the best form of my career. I feel like I can go to Glasgow and score goals.
“It is always nice to score, but goals on the big occasions in the big stadiums is extra special. It is my dream to win the Champions League. It has always been my dream. And we are capable of that. We have a coach who always makes it clear to us not to look beyond the next game, so that is what we do. We want to go and win in Glasgow and then it is back to La Liga.”
