In exciting news for fans of both Michael Jackson and the film industry, a long-awaited biopic about the legendary pop star is finally coming to fruition. Renowned director Antoine Fuqua, known for his work on films like Training Day and The Equalizer franchise, will be helming this highly anticipated project.

According to Deadline, the film titled Michael is set to begin principal photography on January 22. The joint production by Lionsgate and Universal Pictures International has been in the pipeline since its announcement in 2019. The release date is scheduled for April 18, 2025, giving fans something to look forward to in the coming years.
