A well-known TV show will soon be filming at a 'fascinating' city landmark.
The Antiques Roadshow will be filming at Wollaton Hall in Nottingham on Tuesday, June 7 as part of a new series of the BBC One programme.
Leading antiques and fine arts specialists will be offering free advice and valuations on visitors' family heirlooms, household treasures and car boot bargains.
Councillor for Wollaton West, Zafran Khan, in a Twitter post said: We are excited to announce that the Antiques Roadshow will be live on Tuesday 7th June, 2022 from the fascinating Wollaton Hall in Nottingham.
"The Roadshow will be a ticketed event only."
The show has outlined that the event will be ticketed and that visitors will have to apply prior to the day.
Successful applicants will receive their tickets 4-6 weeks ahead of the event date, with a morning session beginning at 9am, and an afternoon session at 1pm.
The event organisers have said that anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 18.
And that in line with the latest government advice around public events, all guests aged 18 and over will need to provide a negative lateral flow test result (taken within the 24 hours prior to attending the Event) from a UK Government-approved test provider.
Lost in TV, who are the TV audience company for The Antiques Roadshow, said: "Due to the popularity of Antiques Roadshow you may be required to queue to see our expert team.
"There will be plenty to see on the day, and we’d encourage you to make a day of it, seeing some of our filming in progress, and soak up the Roadshow atmosphere.
"Refreshments will be available to buy on the day, but you’re also welcome to bring your own food and drinks.
"Ahead of the event day we’ll send out a more detailed FAQ document with information about everything to expect at the Antiques Roadshow."
