Anti-lockdown protesters sentenced for ‘extremely unpleasant’ abuse of BBC’s Nick Watt

Anti-lockdown protesters who verbally abused BBC journalist Nick Watt in an “extremely unpleasant” incident near to Downing Street have been sentenced.

Footage of the incident showed the Newsnight political editor being shouted out as he walked through Whitehall, branded a “traitor”, and then chased as he retreated to a safe place away from the crowd.
