Anthropic's Claude writes 90% of code: CFO Krishna Rao reveals productivity gains

More than 90% of code at Anthropic is now written internally by its agentic artificial intelligence (AI) tool, Claude Code, the company’s Indian-origin chief financial officer (CFO) Krishna Rao revealed in his first-ever podcast appearance.

“For us, scaling laws are alive, and we’re seeing that with more releases. Within the company, over 90% of our code is actually written by Claude Code. Models themselves are helping us build the next generation of models,” Rao told Patrick O'Shaughnessy on the 'Invest Like the Best' podcast.
