Florida quarterback Anthony Richardson’s canon was on full display during the Gators’ Pro Day on Thursday—but maybe he showed off a little too much.
Richardson took a three-step drop while NFL coaches and executives watched. He cocked his arm back and let it rip to a wideout running a deep route—but it never reached him. The 20-year-old threw it so high it hit the training facility’s ceiling.
The ceiling got in the way of Anthony Richardson's passes 😆

An unbothered Richardson looked like he found the sequence hilarious. The star quarterback, who is expected to be a first-round draft pick, had a good year for the Gators, though his accuracy and decision making have negatively impacted his stock.
He threw for 2,549 yards and 17 touchdowns in 2022 while only completing 53.8% of his passes. He also threw nine interceptions in his 12 games played where Florida finished 6–7 under new coach Billy Napier.
The NFL draft starts on April 27 at 8 p.m. ET.
